Lanson "Le Rose" Champagne | 75cl | 12.5%
£74.75
Lanson is one of the oldest Champagne houses, established in 1760 by François Delamotte. It took the name Lanson in 1837 when Jean-Baptiste Lanson took over the management of the estate after Delamotte's death. In 1900 Queen Victoria awarded Lanson with a Royal Warrant as an official supplier to the Court of England, a distinction which Lanson has retained ever since. A delicately salmon-tinted rosé, made from 53% Pinot Noir, 32% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier grapes. It has plenty of finesse and raspberry fruit character, together with the characteristic Lanson crispness.
